The project comprised the inspection of a large stadium comprising a three-storey structure including a large cantilever roof (~ 25 m wide), above the spectators arena. “ARE” COWI was invited to do the damage assessment of the stadium. The work involved investigation, assessment, and recommendations for concrete repair. “ARE” COWI then prepared the tender package to carry out the repair works. In addition, ARE also prepared a cost estimate where help was taken from BWS – Bahrain to complete the project in time.
