Study of water resource management, public health, solid waste, ecological management, urban development, economy and data management for Al-Hassa

The Scope of Works involved Scoping Study in order to define the main objectives and in general to:

• Establish an overview of the required data
• Collect available data
• Study available material
• Conduct limited measurements as required

At the end of the above study it will be possible to know what additional surveys and studies are required for providing overview of the water resources, existing solid waste handling system, key ecosystem parameters, state of the public health, historical and present bio diversity, plans required for the urban development taking into account lo-cal conditions, significant socio-economic factors, agriculture, legislative issues, law enforcement and public participation.

A complete study will be carried out for the following aspects.

Solid waste Management

Public health (in relation to restaurants, food stores, barber shops and other establishments inspected by the municipality)

City cleanliness and evaluation of city cleaning contracts

Handling of sewage trucks
