RSNF appointed “ARE” to carry out investigation, assessment, recommendations, detailed design check, under water survey, structural analysis, rehabilitation design, and tender documents for remedial works to be carried out on piers, wharves, ammo pier, floating pier, etc. at KAANB Jubail.
Works involved visual inspection above and under water, sampling and testing, assessment & recommendations for the rehabilitation works to be carried out. Apart from concrete elements like all M & E equipment were also included in the scope. Structural analysis, design check for the syncro ship lift was also included. The job involved experts from our associate COWI (Denmark) and Syncro Lift (USA).
