“ARE” has been appointed for the study, rehabilitation and development of Al-Hofuf city with an aim to develop it as a prominent tourist centre. The study intends to improve the infrastructure for tourists and its inhabitants, in accordance with the international standards pertaining to the restoration of historical city centres, giving prominence to the salient features of the city’s heritage and culture and protecting heritage sites and structures.
The development will also encourage realtors in the area to improve their properties and attract investment, thereby creating employment opportunities, and also promote the tourism industry and various other economical and cultural activities in the region.
